Pandora Mine is actually located just east of Telluride, Colorado. nestled near the base of the mountains separating Silverton from the higher meadows and canyons west and south of Telluride. The narrow gauge Rio Grande Southern Railroad once served this and many other mountain towns and mines, finally closing in the 1950's.
