This item is composed of two cast bronze pieces, the first of which is the round plate on which The Candleman stands. The plate is designed to collect candle drippings from the broad brimmed hat worn by The Candleman.

Around the diameter of the base are the words, "When the day is done, light my candles one by one."

The candles used would be the sort you see at Christmas powering the little heat driven angel chimes which are available just about anywhere.
